My adventure with birds started in 2007 when I welcomed my first feathered friend into my life. From that very moment, I was captivated—not just by how stunningly beautiful they were, but by their incredible intelligence and emotional depth. "How are birds so smart?" I often found myself pondering. This curiosity awoke a relentless pursuit of knowledge, leading me to sign up for webinars, devour books, and consult with experts in avian care. Before long, I found myself knee-deep in the world of birds. As any bird lover can tell you, it’s nearly impossible to stop at just one! I quickly transitioned from a single pet to a beautiful flock of twelve, each one captivating me in its unique way.

Runzas started in 2022 during a difficult time of my life. Having lost my dad in 2020, the grieving process was a tough journey, and I struggled to find myself and It became clear to me that I needed a new purpose, a way to redirect my energy and focus. One evening, after several months of research, I decided to take a leap of faith: I hit “buy” on my first order for Runzas. That decision marked the beginning of a remarkable journey toward healing.

From driving two hours to our trusted farms to hand-pick the freshest produce, to painstakingly chopping and freeze-drying veggies ourselves, we pride ourselves on cutting out the middleman.
